hii thank u for the ask!! he has seven. most of his dogs in the show r either mutts or “ugly” in some other way (e.g. #5 has a crooked jaw). they’re symbolic of a few different aspects of his personality: his ability to empathize with strays, his disconnect from society, his desire for a connection that he can control, and his need to prove that he can care for something. here ↓ they are ^_^
as for why i picked this user….. unmmm . my name is will and i like the way wg’s dogs represent 2 opposing parts of his personality (nurturing n controlling). also i would enjoy being dragged around on a leash by him #FoodForThought

you put the transmisogyny tag on your post so i believe in you. i just wanted to ask if you knew the guy who posted this believes in transandrophobia/transmisandry as a framework and probably doesnt understand what a framework is (we already have transphobia As A Framework, and issues that are unique to trans men Under that framework.) i might have misread or misinterpreted something along the way so i was open to communication but i got sniped. short answer: i wasn’t aware of nor do i particularly care about that guy’s opinions and frankly i think you’re excessively concerned with mine considering you don’t follow me.
long answer: i’m gonna assume you’re engaging in good faith and say that we don’t agree but i’m open to discussion. i don’t necessarily believe in transandrophobia but i think your reasons for opposing it— “the transphobia you [trans men] experience doesnt intersect with the misogyny you experience unless idk you look or sound like youre transitioning to female”— are erroneous.
trans men being denied gender-affirming care on the grounds that they’re mutilating their bodies, to give a prominent example, represents both transphobia (denial of gender-affirming care to trans people) and misogyny (“protection” of the female reproductive system at the expense of bodily autonomy). saying this is a result of misdirected transmisogyny is untrue and harmful. the countless trans men who have been institutionalized, abused, murdered, and subjected to corrective rape for “pretending to be men” were not targets of misdirected transmisogyny. they were targeted because deviation from gender roles is a punishable offense under patriarchy.
it’s important to recognize that while trans men do have privilege over trans women, as a group we are still at a dangerous disadvantage compared to cis men and cis women. trans men’s privilege over trans women doesn’t necessarily come from being men (although there are cases in which it does, such as the wage gap) but rather from being victimized where trans women are villainized. the “poor mentally ill girl mutilating her beautiful body” is safer than the “predatory man in a dress preying on girls,” but “she” is still not safe.
