I've submitted to the fact that the main trait of Wild Wings for me is- their wild patterns! This is akin to how IceWings have spikes, RainWings have frills, etc. it's just a thing about them. Along with the rose thorn spikes. So that's why any of my WildWing designs are way more complex lol.

If you look up what a real Paua shell looks like, I'm certain the mother of pearl inside of those shells is what Tui was intending! So here is my translation, all hand drawn, I'm super proud

The moment I realized the Dungeon Isle was based off Australia, Mulberry became a beach blonde surfer boy in my head. He's got wild spikey leaf hair and rough scales because I say so. Dunno if Snakeroot comes from the PoisonWings or Sapwings, so I leaned more on PoisonWing genes because it looks cool.
