This past week I busted Sarah out of the zen monastery and we went on all sorts of wild adventures. We made St. John's Wort tinctures on summer solstice, sang songs to the super moon, chanted over our ghee, stuck our feet in the pacific, ate bacon scones and shiitake swiss fougasse at Wild Flour Bakery, visited the gardens at Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, and then drove out to San Fran to dance the night away with our dear friends Adrian and Bonnie. 

It was wonderful to spend so much time with Sarah. Hearing and feeling all her changes had me wanting to dedicate more time to the great spirit. Waking up to meditate, chanting poems of the earth, devoting yourself to one task at a time, cooking all sorts of sacred meals, and just being. I was so inspired by all the changes she has made and all the creativity she brings to every meal. I can't wait to share some of the recipes we made this past week!

It was a big leap for her to get to Tassajara, but I am so glad she did. The work she is doing there radiates out of her being.
