I don't know how to reach you. Do postcards really go that far? I used to like thinking you were reading over my shoulder before, back home, on the roof, all those pages of letters I wrote to you. So maybe they do. It's not that I miss you less these days, I just understand better the different ways to miss people.

Mom's happy, you'd be happy she is, I know. Her and Jessica. Barley's...Barley, I'm glad that never changes. I think you'd like Tony, and Eilonwy, if you'd gotten a chance to meet them because I'm not sure if you know anyway. How does it work when someone is gone, but it doesn't feel real?

I met uncle Linden and everyone else. I saw where home was for you. I'm not afraid to go back there anymore or let them know me. Sometimes I think things just come full circle in different ways.

I'm sorry I stopped writing letters in my journal, stopped wishing so hard for some things when everything started changing too fast. I couldn't really find you anyway, could I? It's just still hard to say that, to let it be real.

Life always seems to move quick these days. I'm going to be a sorcerer, and a writer. Going to be both a lot sooner than I ever thought. I broke a curse and saved someone who saved me. Mom says I look less like you these days and more like me, but I remind her more of who you were. I think I'm okay with that.

I wish more of my words went to you still but there's always so many places to put them now sometimes I don't have enough for everything.

He dropped the thin rectangle of glossy paper into the slot. He had no address to fill the empty space for it aside from the name, Wilden Lightfoot, because he didn't really know where people went when they left and he didn't really feel like he needed to know so desperately anymore.

Wherever it was, maybe it wasn't too far, and maybe there was some magic that helped postcards bridge some impossible distance that had nothing to do with miles.

Aja and Atticus are each others hall passes 💀 Aja and Zeke have talked about it “as a joke” but I truly think that Zeke would be like “ok have fun!” if they talked about it before and it was just like a one time thing. Atticus and Aja are BEST friends and have so much (platonic) love for one another and from day one had crazy chemistry and attraction too.

Zeke’s hall pass would be Octavia Moon she’s his celebrity crush 😅

Ryan’s hall pass is Tricia the Terrible 😈 Atticus made so much fun of him for being shy around her when he was a guest judge on Dragula 😂 😂

Eden and Willow are poly so I don’t think they can technically have hall passes?? But if they did Eden’s would be the succubus Rosie 1000% they would let her literally kill them. Also very much Lilith Vatore (also quick note - I don’t mind getting dragula related questions about Eden but I like to remind y’all that they are @hauntedtrait ‘s oc I did not create them but I love them 🖤)
