it's on his fifth read that he starts to think that maybe, just maybe, he's read this page before ... it's hour six in the library, hour six of hunch - backed concentration — nothing but boy and book and book and boy. he's curled his world around it, taking it into himself like he would an injured limb, as if with enough tender - hearted care and devotion it would reveal to him all the world's secrets. ( well, fat chance of that. ) it's on the sixth read that he shuts the book with a decided bang, almost cursing at another lack - luster day spent holed up in eastern command and actually cursing at the realization that today marked a week spent deciphering the same damn book.

the pile of paper on his desk seemed to multiply by the hour , that even deliberate speed could not adequately diminish . in an attempt , to regain his fragments of lost concentration , the colonel raised from his seat and excused himself . within the stark light , flooding the hallway --- roy clears his throat , rolling tense shoulders to release an accumulation built through years . it is only when a voice cuts through the acquainted quietude , usually accompanying the colonel --- that he sharply halts .
half of his body turns to trail the voice until he spots an unfamiliar face . the exhaustion is stretching itself thin , upon his countenance . but he shelves it , shoves it back to the corner it dared to escaped from . he blinks , mustering them for the fragment of a second , gathering his perception to sharpen anew before giving his response . hawkeye didn't like there being children in the military . an opinion they've scarcely voiced , but can do , ultimately , nothing about . so , at least they can give them a bit more grace than other militants . hawkeye had interrupted a lecture they'd caught the tail - end of , two men admonishing her for something that riza didn't much care to hear about . she stops next to noelle , looking down at her , " oh , stormsurge , there you are . you're late , " eyes flick from the girl to the two militants , taking a step with the hope that she'd follow , " excuse us , majors . colonel mustang's been waiting for her . Currently the Mistericans alive in Wonderland are Kumo (Pilvi), Nousi Aamunkoitto, Tähtien Valo, Sitriini Sinfonia and Revon Tulet on my end. (Aqua Sielu is with them, but he is written and loved by my bestie)

Currently the situation with the FMA crossover verse, is that a Pillar of Darkness has dropped on the Central area of Amestris effectively dragging it and everyone within it into Wonderland.
Characters within Amestris can pass through the pillar (a dimensional tunnel) to find themselves in Wonderland but Wonderland varies how people land it. They could get dropped in from the sky, or find themselves in the ocean or they could just walk in and not even realize they've crossed the boarder
The trick is Chaos has multiple pillars in play at all times, so good luck finding your way back.
I'm happy to plot about anything if you'd like to plot and if you want to just play it by ear as you go, that's also cool and you can throw something at me and I can make it work.
Kumo tends to stick close to the first group and Revon is his bodyguard so he is almost always with him. So really it's not a matter of which one I'm itching to write but who they will meet first because I cycle multiple characters at all times and multiple threads with different characters for different scenes is good with me too!
