PROJECT: KLEOFAS by WIKTOR KUBIAK

KLEOFAS is a story about a sports centre that has served as a shelter for the 06 Kleofas boxing club for nearly half a century now. Owned by a mine during its heyday, it has recently changed its proprietors due to the economic crisis and will probably transformed into a supermarket shortly. Regardless of the fact that the club has raised many notable champions and has been occupied by two coaches, it has sought help from the local authorities in vain.

The centre was deprived of many basic facilities but the members kept training despite that, proving their determination and tight bonds in the club. The building has perished and the recent safety inspection stated that it is now deemed unsuitable and unsafe for use. The future of the club and the memories that have been ingrained and invested within it will now sadly be drawn to an end.
