Diesel Barbershop at McDowell Mountain Village is an official ambassador for Wigs for Kids — an incredible organization that creates custom wigs for children who have lost their hair due to illness or other medical conditions.

For these kids, it’s more than hair — it’s confidence, identity, and a chance to feel like themselves again.

We’re doing our part by collecting donated hair right here in the shop, then handling everything — packaging and shipping — at no cost to make sure it gets into the hands of kids who need it most.

Every cut has the power to give something back.

We’ve already donated hundreds of feet, and it’s easy to be part of it—just book your appointment with at least 12 inches of hair to donate. We’ll handle the paperwork and shipping. You just show up. We’ll do the rest.
