Don’t know if a scene like this will be in TSOM but I would like to request a moment where widowed!reader is just doing some reflecting and missing Loki in new Asgard. Thor or Narfi can be there too.
Big fan! Happy Valentine’s Day!
awww
What she wouldn't give to see him smile again, no one smiled quite like that man. One could never tell what he was thinking, his smile could be difficult to decipher. Loki had always been great at hiding things behind his back, though she could tell he didn't enjoy it sometimes. Perhaps his nature is what made him such a good gift giver, she never knew what to expect but she loved it every time. Time goes on as sad as that sounds, she stared over the ocean. Sat on the hill above New Asgard, overlooking it all. Would Loki like it here? Perhaps not, seems a bit too quiet for him but she knew that he would've tried. They had raised a statue of him in the hills, a place of remembrance. She saw them bring offerings up to him, hanging wreaths of flowers on his horns. Made of stone, he was here in one form. Looking over them, it was still so fresh. Coming out of the blip only to remember what had happened. She had no memory of her time inside that cloud, it felt like nothingness. Deep in her heart, it was a void. Drawing her knees up to her chest, both her children were here. She was grateful, she thanked her husband for all he had done and for what he hadn't done. She missed the first five years of her daughter's life but it was as if she hadn't, Eira remembered her. She loved her from day one, Narfi now a man it was hard to think about.
''Where'd time go?''
Thor had been with her, soon he'd be off with his new friends. Leaving Brunhilde in charge, she'd be a good ruler for their people. She had asked Y/N to be her right hand, a second pair of ears. It was what she was trained for, the duties she took on after she married Loki. When she closed her eyes she could still recall waking up next to him the morning after their wedding day, not exactly the prettiest sight as Loki had been so out of it by the end that he began drooling in his sleep. Not often she caught him doing so, it was the happiest she had been. Then the children came, she chuckled.
''Not sure but I wouldn't mind having a word or two.''
As much as it hurt, sitting here and wishing for Loki to come back; she would be at piece if he didn't. That silly god had given her too many things, she still didn't know how she got so lucky.
''We'll be alright.''
Thor smiled, everyone would be alright.
