Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been fond of love stories. The tales of the prince rescuing the princess, the pirate falling in love with the girl he’s kidnapped, the knight and the peasant trying to be together. These stories have fueled me, given me reason to write.

I love everything that has to do with romance and love. I’m a sucker for everything cheesy and cute, and I’ll happily absorb any kind of fluffy love fic to angsty sadness-tinged romance. In return, I’ll shower every kind of trope or twist into my own story to give it that added romantic flair.

There’s something that’s just so beautiful, so majestic and wonderful about people in love. The beginning is my favorite, when they meet and they realize ‘wow, there’s something here between us isn’t there?’ Or if they know they shouldn’t or can’t be together, but try to bypass that anyway because they love one another.

The acts of holding hands, cuddling, and especially kissing are special. They shouldn’t be taken for granted. The people’s stories I write weave together and slowly meld into one. I love the idea of soulmates, of two people meant to be together- and I write my stories with that kind of bond in mind. 

I may be a bit old-fashioned with how I see every sign of affection and gesture to be meaningful, but it honestly really is. The words ‘I love you’ can only mean so much- doing things, the actions of love, speak so much louder than the words alone.
