#why robin

Robin Tunney means a lot to me and I became her fan because she made me feel happy; because when I was feeling bad, her smile made me smile. I had seen Robin in other movies before I saw The Mentalist, and every character she did, she didn’t just act it, she turned into that character. That’s one of the things I love the most about her.

The day I fell completely in love with TM, the first person who appeared on TV while I was zapping, was Robin as Teresa Lisbon, and since that moment, I knew I would watch it til the end. Back then, I was at the hospital and I had a disease that almost kills me. I spent almost six months going back and out of the hospital and through all that time, I watched TM, and I saw how strong TL was; I started to follow everything Robin did and had done. And that saved me. Robin, you saved me. Because there were some moments when I just wanted to give up, I didn’t want any more meds nor anything to do with hospitals; but the fact that the show hadn’t ended yet and that I admired Robin so much, helped me to go through that time, with the hopes that one day, I would meet her. I hope one day I’ll do it.Thank God, I’m here, turning 18 years this December and way better than that year.

Why Robin?

Well, I could write a book about her and it wouldn’t be enough. I know it's cliche, but it's hard to remember how was my life was before I became her fan. It was missing something very important, that's for sure. I knew her from a few movies and Prison Break, but back in 2008 when I watched The Mentalist for the first time, the Pilot, she finally got my attention in a special way. It didn't take me long to fall in love with her. It's hard to explain all the reasons why because there are tons of them.

She's a fantastic actress and there's this special thing about her acting that gets me everytime, how she uses her eyes to show what her character is feeling. She doesn't even need to say anything sometimes, her eyes shows everything. Those mesmerizing green eyes...

She's so talented, yet so modest and humble, it's a beautiful thing. And then you get to know more about her and you find out how sweet, kind and gentle she is. Oh, and her sense of humor is priceless! I could go on and on and on, there's a gazillion adjectives to describe this woman. Including the fact that she's naturally stunning, getting prettier and prettier every year.

Why Robin?

Because of her incredible talent that makes you feel she lives the life of her character, and wants them done justice to and be treated the way they deserve, because of her versatility as an actress; because of her sincerity and openness and an amazing sense of humor, her being so good to her fans and because of her humanity.

Robin is my woman crush wednesday, every wednesday! To me it’s pretty obvious why that is, but many people can’t see what i see. “The craft” is the main reason why horror movies are my favorite type. And when i thought that this was enough, then “The Mentalist” comes along.Teresa Lisbon is by far my favorite character on a tv show.

Why Robin? Because she is authentic! She is natural and real and so down to earth. I love everything about her. She is amazing in what she does.She is who she is and she always seems to do things that fulfill her.She is beautiful from inside out (obviously), kind and gentle with everyone. Virtues that most people lack nowadays.She is a very strong woman and i always believe in her. She seems like the person who never creates troubles and everyone has something sweet to say about her. I simply love her! Im so happy and proud of her and wish her the best. Always.
