47) Write a Whitmanesque Style Poem We read Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" in ENG150Y1 and the small assignment for it was to write 8 lines of poetry in Whitmanesque style. This is the last assignment in English before my exam on Monday, April 22. I thought about how ONT's high fees make me really upset because it isn't fair and it does create a division between the rich and the poor and who can access post-secondary education when it should be accessible to all. It's true that grants, scholarships and OSAP is available but so many people are still deterred from entering university/college because of the fear of the hefty debt that follows the years in school and the thought that scholarships and grants are not guaranteed to all. I expressed it all in the poem above. :)
