I try really hard to be on top of all great new music of all genres on a daily basis, but of course, you can imagine that’s quite the impossible task, considering the sheer amount of music creativity that comes to light every second of every minute of every hour of every day. But I still feel very sheepish and gutted that I missed this new Montmartre up till today. I try to rectify this egregious mistake by sharing White Fields tonight, and as they say, when it comes to good things, it’s never too late, and better late than never. The Parisian electronic duo, who’s named after a neighborhood I fell in love with ever so deeply during my visit last fall, offer up a lush oasis of epic nu-disco rapture on propulsive and lustrous White Fields. The song’s breezy vocals and classy beats are hypnotic and scintillating, a glorious display of Montmartre’s production brilliance. Purchase majestic White Fields from iTunes.
