Four blazing torches illuminate the space with a comforting warm glow, creating dark shadows at crevices and corners. Tapestries adorn every wall, the lovers depicted in their threads forever intertwined in romantic embraces and chivalrous gestures. A long wooden table stands at the center of the room, matching chairs standing at opposite ends. As far as you can tell, you’re alone here.
Suddenly, the torches flare as if stirred by an unfelt wind, a slight whooshing crackle accompanying their spontaneous blaze.
And something that feels akin to a whisper can be heard in the back of your mind.
