There aren’t a lot of people in this world that Takeda hates. He’s not a hateful person, and of course there are things and actions that he detests, but... hate is such a specific feeling for him, and it only really comes out against one being or entity, and that’s the Red Dragon. Takeda’s mother was, just, his world and his rock as a child and when she died, not only did it leave a gaping wound in him, and put him through the change of losing a parent (his only parent, at that), but his ENTIRE world changed. The only miniscule hint of a “good thing” about that is that Takeda wasn’t actually there to witness it himself.
The Red Dragon took her away from him, and took Suchin’s own life away, and he’ll never forgive or forget that.
