This was my #while30 dinner.
Whole30
The whole30 diet is one of the hardest diet changes I have done, it's right up there with the Daniel Fast. I am on day 14. I was hoping I would miss foods less, but I don't, I probably miss yogurt and chocolate w/ peanutbutter the most. What I have learned about myself through this? I have way more will power than I ever thought. I am strong enough to say no to cravings. It is possible for me to make steady healthy decisions. I don't have to give into a craving and beat myself up for it. It is making me pray more which is great. God want's a close and daily relationship with us. I want one with my God also! I turn to Him often to help me stay strong. Food has always been a battle for me. This is hard but I can do it.
So tonight starts my culinary journey of 30 days through a completely natural and clean eating routine. I am excited but nervous because I am doing this all by myself and I tend to do best in groups but I know that I will be able to do this so I can finally wear my new ring set on my right ring finger. It is so badly "eczema'd" that I can't fit a ring on it..... And that makes me sad, but I can do this! AHHHH I am excited to see how my muffins turn out.
