This may be a controversial take, idk, but I genuinely do not blame Eurydice Hadestown at ALLL for taking the deal from Hades. Imagine being a woman in pseudo kind of industrial revolution kind of Ancient Greece and specifically asking the guy who wants to marry you āhey, how are you going to put food on the tableā and he says all this stuff about how the trees are going to bend their fruits to the ground and the birds are going to make your bed, and you believe him because you want to believe him and because he clearly means it with all his heart and clearly is gifted in a supernatural way but then, lo and behold, itās fucking winter and whereās the fucking food? Like actually that would be pretty fucking frustrating. Like obviously itās a reflection of Orpheusās youth and naivety that he makes those promises to her and he didnāt intentionally mislead her or anything, and obviously he was right about the song, he just didnāt finish it soon enough, but itās just very much reminding me of the Mitski song Because Dreaming Costs Money, My Dear. All things considered, Eurydice was very patient with him, and she did believe in him, but like the Fates point out there is a very stark reality in starvation. Iām not even really responding or arguing against anything Iāve seen Iām just sort of thinking about her.
We all know the semi-canonical āall the Robins know to hide/duck inside of Batmanās cape, even as adultsā thing.
We also know that Danny āis LITERALLY a ghostā Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.
All Iām saying is, Danny Fenton (or Phantom, if youād really like) would absolutely SLAM into Batman on accident while running on roof tops and Bruce āBrooding Instinctā Wayne doesnāt even think twice about letting the kid hide and scanning around for danger before thereās a record scratch of āwait who tf is this?ā kicks in.
Who else is in need of lesbyler smut???<3
If you like my art then I would love a reblog, also there's a version without the sparks under the cut for details <333

an early (technically) valentines day post but for... a redesigned, rewritten valentine! hehe
I have no idea if Noy is going to turn out to be the "red flame" mentioned in Flins' backstory or not, but since I'm obsessed with the fae, I'd love it if this ended up being the case, mostly because it raises a lot of immediate questions I'm having a ton of fun thinking about.
So, if Noy is an aarnivalkea, then:
He doesn't appear to be carrying a lantern, so is it possible that he's a "free roaming" flame? That he doesn't have a form of "habitation," just stays in a human shape most of the time or as a bare flame when he needs to?
Or, perhaps he has some other form of habitation, but it's just not as blatant or as visible as Flins' lantern? Can Genshin's will-o-wisps inhabit even small things? Could a flame fae fit itself into a pocket watch or a locket?
If Flins is the only aarnivalkea that chooses to live inside a lantern, that raises questions about his backstory--as I've speculated before, could the lantern be a sentimental item, something he chooses to live in not because he needs to live in a lantern, specifically, but because it has personal meaning to him?
And if Noy is the "red flame" that replaced the "azure flame," then what differed in their ideology that makes him opposed to Flins? What made the humans of the Snezhnayan regions suddenly "enshrine" red flames over blue flames? What philosophical point do they disagree on so badly that Flins felt like he needed to actually leave Snezhnaya over it?
Is the tundra just not big enough for two aarnivalkea at the same time?? š
Above: Two adult aarnivalkea forced to share space. (Non-colorized.)
I love platonic and queerplatonic relationships but Iāve got a special need to put Donatello in particular in romantic situations. bestie your canonical type is cute and mean. why do you want them to mean to you hmmm. do you want the validation earning their affection?? do you want them to mean to everyone but you because youāre their Person??? hmmm. hows your relationship with your dad btw
