"The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving." 😉 Here's a short video of movements to help develop control for learning jumpings. These kind of hop-and-switch jumps bring a sense of lightness and play to the practice. Learn with bricks so there is more height for arms and space for legs to move. Then try in double time picking up the pace. Use momentum to jump back with both legs straight and arms bent into Chaturanga Dandasana. Flip onto the tops of the feet (at the same time) and push up to Urdhva Mukha Svanasana! 😆 Stay tuned to your body. Stay inspired by your practice. Next week I'll post a video breaking down the classic jump back to Chaturanga Dandasana with support. It's a very energizing pose when done with conscious movements.
