Well… I feel like my boyfriend’s avoiding me. Like??? Every time I go to stand by him, he walks away. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but I think that’s what’s happening. Also I don’t really believe this happened but??? This girl apparently went to confront him about it and apparently he started flirting with her and when she asked “what about your girlfriend” he replied with “what girlfriend” (she kinda has a reputation for being a liar)

I agree, I feel that the Heroes series really, for lack of a better term, brought out problems that I never had with Percy Jackson. I feel that at this point it's just become so repetitive. Travel here - fight monsters - nearly get killed - here a mythological story - travel somewhere else - repeat. The only change is the location and which monster they're killing. And then there are times when I feel like I'm reading a history book trying cram my head with info. I mean I can't even keep track of the names and all the greek myths we've learned. It's become less of a fictional story and more of a different approach at teach greek mythology and I don't like that. I like learning about myths and such in Percy Jackson but now it seems so much more prevalent and sometimes an annoying digression to the story. Like okay, we don't need to have a 5 page long back story on a monster that we'll never see again when there are more pressing issues.And what is this now? Book 9? 9 books with using the same formula that I listed above. Theres no change or anything really unique about each book and you already read my rant about perspective changes. The more I think about, analyze it, like you said, I truly do become more loathing of it.And see I don't even care about the spoilers. Usually I'm like scraping around for any spoiler of anything but this time, I found myself just not caring.I don't know, I may just put it on my christmas list, and power through to the part I want to get to because I still for the life of me can't just skip chapters no matter HOW MUCH I WANT TO. And, I don't really have the time to read it now anyway (or the money haha) (... though the same can't be said about allegiant because I'm PUMPED for that)
