5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Actually, I didn’t ship much while watching this show. It was mostly the plot, and tension among people (especially in the first season) that appealed me.

Character I find most attractive: Olly Stevens (For he had Psi’s face lol.)

Character I would marry: None of them.

Character I would be best friends with: Ellie Miller, maybe.

a random thought: Compared to those familiar detective stories solved by collected evidences, I love how the Sandbrook case’s truth was a twisty mingle of lies. Witness’ words were unreliable, contained with little real things distorted, lots of bluffs, and manipulations. When the truth was revealed, all those “false” words flashed back and became the truth’s ghost version. I really enjoyed that.

An unpopular opinion: Although I enjoyed watching both Broadchurch and Sandbrook cases, I couldn’t find a convincing connection between two story lines except they were both being solved by Hardy and Miller. There were two separate plot lines in season 2, a court drama and a detective drama. The former was the follow up of season one, and the latter had the same solver of the first season, but there was no necessity to put these two into a season. What bothered me most was that, I found that the core theme of a detective drama (who did it) and that of a court drama (were them the murders?) compromised one another. I felt bugged when the court plot began and its view of narrative made the detective plot's closure unsetting. I found I had issues of accepting that….

most badass character: I think Maggie Radcliffe was quite tough but maybe not to the extent of badass. Or, maybe Claire Ripley.

pairing I am not a fan of: Lee Ashworth and Claire Ripley.

character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): None of them. The only problem I had about this show was the conflict core themes of those two seasons’ narratives. To me, they somehow compromised and devalued one another.
