If ever you confront a man for his shady behavior, and he goes silent and that’s all, it’s most likely because you were right and he is guilty of whatever you were suspicious of or questioning him about. Him falling silent and remaining silent is the same as his admission of guilt. It’s the same as him saying YOU ARE RIGHT, but since the male ego won’t allow him to ever say that, he will say nothing – hence the silence.
