You may not know this, but I have spent much of this year methodically indexing every piece of Haunted Mansion fan-art under the sun on this website, to try and do something a bit like INDUCKS for Disney comics. I’m probably still missing  afew, but i have over 1500 pieces indexed, including all of @whatwouldwaltdo’s, @miniscule-mars’s, @i-am-not-alone-anymore’s, @skeleton-skelly’s, @officialhappyhaunt’s, and my own, Haunted Mansion art… and much more. 

Each page includes a high-resolution image of the comic/drawing/sketch, a link to its source, the date at which it was published, and a list of the characters featured in it. The comics are given a ‘code’ of the format:

XXX XX 001

The first three letters are specific to each author/artist; the two next letters indicate whether it was originally published on tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, etc.; the numbers simply count the comics by this person at this source.

It’s not just fan art, by the way (although it mostly is); I have also indexed all the HM concept art I could lay my hands on, and have also begun indexing fanfilms and audio (like @the-phantom-of-the-manor’s).

And so, among other things, I have used it to determine that the HM fandom produced approximately 375 artpieces and other miscellania in 2017.

That’s more than one a day.

I am beginning to translate an awesome French fancomic about Phantom Manor. The original was written and drawn by a Pascal Schyns who’s been unreachable on the Internet for years, so I couldn’t get permission, though I would have if I could. @whatwouldwaltdo, you really must see this. It has a Phantom as Henry Ravenswood, but on the brighter side, it has a ‘tough’ Melanie rather than a whiny blank slate of a character, which you once said you’d like. It’s also very well drawn.
