It feels a little foreign to not have to fight to the death to get in the shower before one of his sisters could hog the bathroom for hours on end, finding it necessary for whatever reason to look their absolute best to jump off a dock into the lake at the end of it all, but it feels good to not have to answer to anyone else for the time being. He lets the mirror fog up, turns the volume all the way up on his phone, blaring an alternative rock station on Spotify, making a face at himself when his voice cracks at a particularly high note.
