"What is fun?" she asked, her fingers fiddling with the label on her Budweiser long neck. The hours had passed like minutes and neither of us were in a rush to go anywhere.
"What do you mean?" I responded, staring into her irresistible eyes.
"People always ask, are you having fun? What even is fun?" She postulated playfully as I gazed her puzzled.
"I don't know, are you having fun now?" I interrogated.
"I think so, is this fun?" She was disarming in her ability to be present, engaged and comfortable feeling the breeze of time passing as it gently teased her hair.
"I think this is fun!" I concluded as we laughed and smiled and drank and basked in the synergy between us even if it was only for the moment.
