maybe a pete x reader kind of based on that tiktok sound ‘last night i told you i loved ya, woke up blamed it on the vodka’ 💛💛💛💛
You’re gonna laugh but I literally had to do research to figure out what you were referring to. I literally avoid tik tok like the plague 😂 but okay. Okay I got this. Except-small change: Vodka is gross. I’m definitely a Tequila person.
You sat outside on the stairs, a bottle of tequila at your side. The party raged inside, celebrating your best friends success. You had been by her side as she studied her way through medical school. You were always supportive of her but deep down you always feel less than- since you dropped out of college after your first year. The tequila made your body shudder as you took another swig and bit into another lime. Leaning back against the step, you kicked off your sandals, letting the alcohol consume you as you stared up at the moon. “You look like you’re having fun,” a voice chuckled from behind you. You opened your eyes to see a tall, tatted man standing above you. You smiled, “fucking loads of fun”, lifting up the almost empty bottle of tequila. The man exhaled, “damn...that bad huh?” he said quietly before sitting down next to you. You nodded, “This party is just a reminder of how shitty I am. My parents are even here celebrating- because they never got a chance with me,” you half smiled, oversharing. You shook your head taking another drink straight from the bottle and turning to him, “I’m also extremely awkward when it comes to parties-you picked the wrong person to hang out with,” you joked. The man laughed, “Pshh... trying to get rid of me huh? Looks like you’re in need of a friend,” he answered bluntly. You stuck out your tongue, “Whats your name anyway?” you asked, looking over at him. He was wearing a dark maroon plaid shirt, a grey loose t-shirt exposing more tattoos on his chest. He extended his hand, “I’m Casey’s brother, Pete,” he introduced. You shook his hand, “Yeah....I recognize you. You’re pretty famous, right?” you asked. He blushed, looking down as his feet, “Yeah kind of,” he chuckled. You stood up, taking his hand, “Walk with me?” you asked, “I need to get away from this place.”
The sand was cool and refreshing as you sank your toes into it, leaving a small imprint on the shore. The beach always brought you comfort, especially at night as the moon reflected and glittered on the water. The two of you chatted as you made your way down the beach, “So...what do you do? I remember Casey saying something about your friend going to your shows. Are you like part of band or something?” he asked. You laughed, “I wish. I’d be making more money. But no. I work off Broadway. Trying to make it big” you looked down, ashamed almost. “No one warned me that Broadway is cruel. So for now I take any ensemble part I can get my hands on,” you sighed. Pete took your hand and squeezed it tightly, “You’ll get there. I’m sure you’re great,” he smiled, reassuringly. You grinned, squeezing his hand before letting it go and unbuttoning your shorts, and kicking them off. “Hey! What are you doing?” Pete hissed, looking around cautiously. “Its hottttt” you groaned, walking into the water, throwing your tube top at him, “Live a little,” you laughed. Pete watched you, “C’mon (Y/n)! Get outta there,” he yelled, tossing your shirt on top of your pants and throwing his phone on top. He moved closer towards the water, extending a hand to you, “Let me help you,”
You looked down at his hand before staring up at him with a devilish grin. You stood up, kissing his lips abruptly. He kissed you back, perfectly distracted as you pulled him in the water too. Pete stood up, anger growing in him as you laughed, something you hadn’t been able to do all night. Pete sighed, a small smile appearing on his face as he splashed you, “I’ll never forgive you, you know that right?” he joked. You shrugged, “I’m okay with that,” you smiled back, as you swam up to him and wrapped your arms around him. He kissed you, gently this time, the two of you floating in the water.
You woke up the next morning, your head pounding as you tried your hardest to open your eyes. The room was unfamiliar even in the darkness as you rolled over, extending your arms out to stretch. Suddenly your hand made contact with another a person next to you, causing you to jump up. There laid Pete, one eye open as he yawned, “GOoood Morning,” he said, groggily. Your brain was foggy, memories of the night before a bit scattered, “Pete?....Shit. Where am I?” you asked looking down at your self, noticing that you were in a T-shirt that did not belong to you. Pete sat up, pulling the blankets back down and motioning for you to come back, “My place. You were cocked and by the time we made it back to the party, pretty much everyone was either passed out or had all the rooms occupied,” he explained. You crawled back into the bed, cuddling up next to him, an action that felt a bit familiar even with most of your memories missing. “We didn’t.....ya know,” you asked, waving a hand over the bed and the two of you. Pete laughed, “No...no. We made out a bit but no trust me, nothing else” he chuckled. You groaned, “God I’m so sorry. I managed to get dressed though, it seems,” you laughed looking down. Pete blushed, “Um yeah, I handed you a shirt and you just....stripped. No warning. Just stock naked.” You laughed together, slightly embarrassed, “I’m sorryyyyyy”, squeezing him tightly. Pete hugged you back, “No worries. I’ll remember this encounter forever. That’s for sure. But umm...you were fun. The most fun I’ve had in a while honestly,” he admitted. You looked up at him, kissing his cheek gently before cuddling back into his arms, “Same here...” you sighed contently.
