hey there! yeah, I’m with you on this I cannot fathom that season 3 of JJ might be the last, it brings me pain :( the only reason I think she’s the next one in line is because 1) s2 had some very mediocre reviews 2) the plot wasn’t as satisfying as in s1 and most of the viewers also complained about that 3) the showrunner is deliberately leaving after s3, so they’d have to replace her. In the article about LC’s cancellation, they emphasized that numbers are everything; these shows are costly to make, so if they aren’t ridiculously popular then it’s not worth it to invest money on them.
The reason I think DD is safe (he might get at least another 2 seasons) is because it’s Marvel’s golden goose, basically. Marvel demanded a second season one week after season 1 came out, they literally pushed back the defenders + LC and IF so they could have another season of DD first. On top of that, DD is hands down the most watched Marvel show on Netflix (they’ve stated JJ is the most popular but imho “popular” isn’t the same as “most watched”, LC was popular too and yet). DD gives them loads and loads of money, therefore they won’t cancel it.
Let’s just hope JJ can fill their bags with enough money for us to get a season 4.
