Ā Ā Ā Usually when I post a track with no lyrics, or just something ambient, it goes almost entirely unnoticed on Tumblr. But Iām gonna give it the old community college try for this band because they deserve far more attention and appreciation for their overall skill, determined ingenuity and acumen with electronic music. This is likely a band that youāve heard once or twice in passing but were never able to become familiar with because of their criminally limited and almost anonymous play on all forms of media. Working for a Nuclear Free City is a band I was introduced to randomly by Pandoraās algorithm about five years ago. The actual history of this UK band is rather limited; bottom line, they havenāt released anything new in about six years as of writing this (2021), although they have generated numerous full albums and a few EPās in the years previous. I was surprised to learn in my limited research for this entry that they actually had a song appear on theĀ Breaking BadĀ television soundtrack (one of my favorite shows of all time) calledĀ Dead Fingers Talking. Their genre is nu gaze, which is basically a subset of shoegaze that tends to rely on distorted, heavily synthesized tracks and loops often incorporating elements of ambient and some guitar here and there. The hypnotic result can best overheard in tunes like this, Je Suis Le Vent from their 2007 albumĀ Businessmen & Ghosts. This is also a group that started off being stuck in a studio for years and gradually had to learn to play their music live because of the sensitive process of layering in organic elements for a live audience to enjoy.Ā WFANFC is definitely an act that is underappreciated in our time so smash play and expand your musical horizon, or just treat yourself to a nearly lyric-less electronic journey into a dreamlike soundscape, and enjoy!Ā
yes iyami is a war criminal. yes he's also a dilf. don't talk down on him smh
Oh, donāt worry, BIG Šyamifuį“ker here. Every time I point out him being unappealing in any way, thereās a little implicit asterisk on it that says ā*: for everyone except MEā. You see, I acknowledge heās not everyoneās cup of tea (which makes the reactions people have to āsexyā art of him extra funny) but to me? He might a middle-aged petty criminal but he is one damn fine middle-aged petty criminal.
