- The pregnancy is pretty much a complete surprise to the both of them, since Vorta are supposed to be sterile as part of their genetic modification: both of them (and Julian) suspect that it might have something to do with Six being “defective”. Plus they had no idea they would be genetically compatible due to them being different species and so on.

- When they first find out they are both shocked, extatic and somewhat scared because all of this is so sudden. Weyoun tearfully apologizes to Ezri for "putting her through this" , but promises to support and protect her no matter what.

- Ezri is very much worried and unsure of herself as a mother given her young age, plus the fact that Dax was a parent five times in some of their previous lifetimes, and not being very successful in that role, therefore she feels she also won’t be up for that challenge this time as well.

- Weyoun on the other hand worries that he won't be able to provide the right emotional support or show any appropriate parental instincts, since he is a clone with no actual parents. BONUS: Weyoun going to Chief O'Brien, Captain Sisko, Rom and Worf for advice bc they're the four dads on the station that he knows of.

- The crew reacts enthusiastically to the baby announcement, though Worf is quite somber and goes off to brood at first because he remembers how much he and Jadzia wanted to concieve a child, and were so close to being succesful but their attempts were cut short by Jadzia’s death. Regardless he congratulates the both of them, and offers to become the child’s guardian (something akin to a “godfather”, since Klingons don’t have the term for that). Also Worf saying something akin to: "just make sure I wouldn't have to assist in your childbirth process".

- Garak gifting Ezri with hand-made baby clothes and onesies (including one patterned with cute print of tiny Trill symbiots), as well as maternity clothes.

- Quark opens a betting pool at his bar, on whom the baby will take after the most - with Morn winning in the end.

- Six being a constant worrier and fussing over the safety and comfort of both Ezri and the baby: something which Ezri finds amusing but also super touching, especially with all the back rubs, foot massage and catering to her strange food cravings (like a pizza with some jambalaya sprinkled with delavian chocolates).

- Six always taste-testing every food and drink Ezri is about to eat or drink, to make sure it’s safe for both her and the baby.

- Ezri feeling the movements in her abdomen and not being able to tell if it’s the baby or the symbiont acting about.

- Ezri letting Six feel the baby kick for the first time - Six being all like "HOLY FUCK" .

- Six falling asleep, ear pressed against Ezri’s belly, listening for the baby’s heartbeat - something they both find very soothing and comforting.

- Keiko, Kasidy, Nerys and Leeta throwing a baby shower for Ezri, and Weyoun taking the idea too literaly (”Weyoun, dear, what are you doing with that umbrella?” “It’s for protection of course! Wouldn’t want you to get wet.”).

- (this idea came about courtesy of mine and @loathsome-aesthete ‘s baby Vorta headcanon) The moment after the baby is born and it’s Vorta ears unfurl, revealing it’s teeny-tiny baby face dotted on each side with teeny Trill spots... sdlfhdkfldsjdflg

- Several hours after the baby’s birth, Six shows up to Odo’s room with the small bundle in his arms. He asks Odo if he, as a Founder, could give his blessings to the newborn. Odo at first hesitates, due to his reluctance and dislike of the idea of being percieved as a “god”, but accepts, knowing how important it is to Six. The moment he aggrees is one of the happiest ones in Six’s life and he's moved to tears.
