We were taken to a castle, the Wernigerode Castle. This was my first time seeing a castle and it did not disappoint. It was amazing to see the different architecture styles as different sections were made throughout the centuries. Above all my favourite thing was the decor. I don’t understand why we don’t paint intricate flowers on our ceilings or put fabric on our walls, it is so so beautiful. I can’t imagine how it was to live in these beautiful places but also how they survived people walking through rooms to get to other rooms. The person who invented hallways is a genius. If I get the chance to see any other castles I will jump on it.
