imprinting is not the moment you fall in love, it's the moment you realize it
It never sitted well with me the idea of just meeting someone and suddendly just... Loving them for life, loves doesn't just magically appear. So i got this theory/hc that imprinting happen when you realize that you are in love. You meet someone, spend days with them, know them, have some nice feeling around them. Then one day watching them doing something like laughing or smiling at you (or other way, crying and you feel you never want them to be sad) that's when something click in, and you realize that feeling that had been growing day for day was love. You realize you're in love with them. And in that moment you have the imprinting.
It just makes more sense to me i guess
