In the monster within will you find out what type of werewolf everyone is?
Already spoiled somewhere here. But yeah. You'll find out everyone's type in the next few episodes.

I was looking through the forum replies on the monster within. I believed you mentioned something about werewolf "types" can you elaborate more on that?
Right. This is something I have planned to explain in the next few episodes in more detail. But here's the short version:
There's three types of werewolves:
Average Werewolves: name says it all. These are the more common ones and probably the first form of every werewolf's life. They're big and mean, mostly furless, face stretched out to resemble a snout but not quite there.
Beta Werewolves: the second type. These motherfuckers are wild. Taller and bigger than average werewolves. Face fully changed into a snout like a giant wolf. Still mostly furless but a few pockets more than average werewolves.
Alpha Werewolves: The tallest and biggest SOBs in town. Also the most aggressive and dangerous. When people talk about the monsters from movies and books, these are the assholes they're talking about. Fully covered in fur and muscular like Hulk. You do not want to meet one of these beasts.
Disclaimer: these are not hierarchy types. An alpha or a beta does not automatically lead an average werewolf (and due to lore, more often than not you'll find out most werewolves won't like to have an alpha as the packleader).
I'll leave it at this for now. Hope this helps!
Werewolf Types in The Monster Within
After the last ask, I decided to share this for anyone wanting to do fan art of TMW and to overall have a more descriptive alternative to just the wip where I don't always go into too much detail of how werewolves look. The lore reasons for the different types will be explained in Episode 2. With that said here they are:
1. The Average Werewolf: as the name suggest these are the default werewolves. They are tall and toned. Proportionally their heads are bigger than a human's. Almost covering their shoulders. Ears also grow to look more like a wolf's. Their face however is still stuck between a human's and a wolf's with a small snout and slightly elongated face but not completely. Think of the Underworld movie werewolves with their big heads. The rest of their bodies are more or less humanoid, albeit with a slim shape. Fur covers their limbs and neck but their upper body and face are uncovered. Lastly skin and fur color match their human's skin and hair color respectively.
2. Beta Werewolves: these ones are bigger than the average werewolf and basically look like a cross between the average and the Alphas. They still somewhat have the same slim shape that the average werewolves have, only more pronounced and muscular. Fur covers the same areas, the limbs and the neck, but the head and body are still exposed. The biggest difference between the two, besides their size, is the head as in this type, the head has fully formed into that a wolf's with a long snout and overall head shape. Speaking of the head, a subtler change is the proportion of said head compared to the rest of the body: the head is smaller compared to the body, looking more like a big humanoid form than anything else. Skin and fur color rules from the previous form still apply here.
3. Lastly the Alphas: the biggest ones of the bunch. These ones look more or less like seven feet tall bodybuilders, much more muscular and toned than the previous two, with a completely wolf like head. They are also covered completely in fur of the same color as the human's hair color. Overall think of the 2004 Hugh Jackman Van helsing movie appareance and you have a pretty good idea of how they look.
I don't think this needs to be mentioned, but hands are clawed and feet are just like a wolf's in all forms. It's mostly their size, body and head shapes that change between the three.
You actually have an example of all three types in the first ep: Mc is an average werewolf by the end, Tatiana is a Beta and Nyliem/Cassandra is a Beta pre timeskip and an Alpha post timeskip.
