‘ OH MY GOD . ’ That was it --- that WOULD’VE been her FINAL WORDS before PERISHING by the DAXAM QUEEN with the inflated ego ; if not for SUPERGIRL coming to her rescue ( ONCE AGAIN ) . And it was in THAT MOMENT where she realized that her mouth had landed her in a WORLD OF TROUBLE again --- ALL FOR NOTHING . It all happened SO FAST , Cat could hardly RECALL the yelling of the GUARDS as they tried THEIR DAMNEDEST to protect the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES as she HELD ON FOR DEAR LIFE until the inevitable transpired . They were  s e p a r a t e d   in the MIDST OF CHAOS --- both left to SURVIVE with IMPOSSIBLE ODDS stacked against them . And yet they BOTH walked away , WITHOUT A SCRATCH ( despite the guards’ unfortunate demise ) . The blonde was indeed VERY GRATEFUL --- but UNDERNEATH that spark of relief , was a pool of TREPIDATION as deep as the SEA . And Olivia was FRONT AND CENTER on her mind --- especially now , as her eyes were LOCKED on the devastated woman ( with her secret exposed ) . “ I was PETRIFIED . Not just by DYING , but by LOSING YOU . ” She was TERRIBLE at revealing her TRUE FEELINGS ; but with Kara’s help , she had learned to show them more often when emotions ARE required of her . ONE STEP FORWARD --- and then another , until she was FACE-TO-FACE with the taller woman . “ You did EVERYTHING you could , Olivia . ” But her tone EXPOSED her own grief just as hazel hues were GLOSSED OVER by tears ( but she refused to let them fall --- she had to be strong ; even now as her heart was breaking ) . “ What I NEEDED was the truth , not your PROTECTION . YOU SHOULD’VE TOLD ME . I wouldn't have  WORRIED nearly as much --- or fear SEEING YOUR CORPSE in the HEART of the DEBRIS . And … damn it , after EVERYTHING we’ve been through together --- I DESERVED to have known this about you . ” B R E A T H E . There was a line that she couldn’t AFFORD to cross --- no getting angry ( or so that’s what she tried to tell herself ) as she dropped her head . Jaw CLENCHED as hands rested at her HIPS ; closing her eyes to KEEP HERSELF from imploding when , at last , her voice SOFTENED ( merely whispering ) as her lip TREMBLED , “ Is THIS why ? Instead of using the EXCUSES regarding PROFESSIONAL DIFFERENCES and what we wanted in LIFE , it was YOU being AFRAID that kept us from --- ” being SOMETHING MORE , something greater . S H U T . I T . D O W N . Repress .                                                  God , she could use a few martinis right about now … Swallowing harshly , Cat cleared her throat and FORCED HERSELF to return her gaze and --- s m i l e . There was much to do and now wasn’t the time to DWELL . “ I’m GLAD you SURVIVED --- I would’ve despised seeing your VP attempt to FILL YOUR SHOES . We would’ve been GONERS for sure . “

getting to know folks over the internet is so difficult for me.

little does he know  ,  the world DOES need steve rogers  .  he is the glue that tends to hold them all together  .  when stark goes on a self righteous tangent  or when this god of thunder gets a little too HOT HEADED for his own good  . when it comes to any of them steve is the one that reels them back in and they NEED that grounding . this world simply would cease to exist without rogers at the helm to guide them all back to where they are supposed to be  .

Glass Cage

You feel disconnected from the world around you. You can see everything, everyone can see you, but you're not really there. No one can really communicate with you, can they?
