Once an artist, always an artist: before hair, Kelly studied art and worked in graphic design. But art itself wasnât enough, and Kelly craved a way to bring her passion to work every day. Her skills and imagination were pushed to new levels in the MCE studio. And Kelly wants to share creative powers for good.
âI love to make people feel beautiful. I love seeing them have confidence in themselves.â She makes each workday dynamic and vibrant. âI love that itâs so colorful and different every dayâcreating colors and customizing each formula to every client.â
Kelly has the determination to never give up, the discipline to create every day, and the foresight to plan new goalsâplus, this California girl knows how to have fun in the studio! âItâs my favorite place to beâmy Disneyland! I love the Wella Studio and team!â As her grandfatherâalso a stylistâused to tell her, âIf you love your job, youâll never feel like you work a day in your life.â

One way to stay ahead: Instagram. Kelly knows a picture is worth a thousand wordsâor, in her case, thousands of followers! âInstagram is an amazing tool and I love what itâs become for the hair industry. It enables us to interact, network, and learn from each other.â
Her tips for stylists hoping to up their Insta game? âFind good lighting for picturesâI feel like thatâs a big struggle.â She also recommends posting contact info for potential clients to reach out and book appointments. Her final tip? âStay consistent!â
