there's a long post about my autism and my mother sitting half written in my drafts and maybe I'll finish and post it but not today. I didn't write it today. she makes no secret of the fact that I was never easy to raise. it was not easy for me either. if we had not met by the circumstances of my birth I do not think we would be friends but I'm glad we know each other now. I know my little sister is much easier for her. It is not for lack of my trying for better and for worse. We share a stubbornness my little sister uses far more productively than either of us. I think I still need her. I think she needs me.
