Johnny:

Johnny Joestar isn’t very flashy with gifts. He’s awkward about it, actually. You’re sitting beside the campfire when he rolls up beside you on his horse, digging something out of his saddlebag.

“…Hey.” You glance up, hearing the nervousness from his voice. “Yeah?” He tosses something into your lap. A pair of warm leather gloves. You blink in confusion. “…Johnny?” you had asked, he scratches the back of his neck. “It’s cold.”

“…Okay?”

“You always complain about your hands freezing.” You stare at the gloves. “…Is this because of Christmas?” Johnny pauses. “…You didn’t know?” You shake your head slowly. Johnny chuckles quietly. “Well… now you do.” He pretends to focus on the fire, but he’s definitely watching to see if you put them on.

Gyro:

Gyro Zeppeli absolutely makes a show out of it. You’re brushing down your horse when something lands on your head. A hat. His hat. You grab it before it falls, “…Gyro?” you questioned, glancing towards him as he’s leaning against the fence, grinning. “Merry Christmas.”

“…It’s Christmas?”

“Yep.” You stare at the hat before looking at him “You’re giving me your hat?” He shrugs, “You kept staring at it.” he confessed, you could feel your ears become red from embarrassment “I was not.” you deflected, watching as he rested his head on his hand “You absolutely were.” he teased you further, you laugh, putting it on. Gyro’s grin softens slightly “…Looks better on you anyway.”

Diego:

Diego Brando pretends the gift means nothing. He tosses it at you without warning. You barely catch it, slightly shocked at the present that was in your hands “…What’s this?” you asked softly, your eyes catch Diego's blithe expression “A Christmas present.”

“…It’s Christmas?”

Diego sighs. “Were you raised in a cave?” he hissed as you open the package. Inside is a silver hairpin. Elegant. Expensive. Clearly. You look up at him. “…Why give me this?” Diego smirks, “Because I felt like it.” But later you realize something. The pin matches the color of his saddle decorations. Which means he absolutely picked it carefully.

Hot Pants:

Hot Pants doesn’t even mention Christmas. She simply hands you something while passing by. “Take it.” she demanded, watching as you began taking a peak into the package “…What is it?”

“A spare cloak.” You unfold it quickly, it’s thick, warm, and clearly well-made. “…Why are you giving this to me?” you asked, glancing towards her retreating figure. though she pauses. “…Because you shiver constantly.”

You blink. “…Is this a Christmas gift?” Hot Pants sighs “…If calling it that makes you stop asking questions.” But when she walks away, she’s hiding a small smile.

Valentine:

Funny Valentine treats gift-giving like a ceremony. He presents a small velvet box dramatically. “For you.” he says, ignoring your hesitate reach, “…Why?”

“It is Christmas.”

“…Oh.” Inside is a beautiful compass pendant. Valentine smiles softly “A traveler should never lose their direction.” Your voice is quieter now “…You didn’t have to do this.” He shakes his head “On the contrary.” His gaze lingers warmly “I very much wished to.”

Wekapipo:

Wekapipo is awkward about gifts. He simply walks up to you and hands over a small wrapped bundle. “…For you.” he declared, your eyes widening “…Why?”

“…Holiday tradition.” You unwrap it. A beautiful hand-carved charm. You look up, surprised. “You made this?” He looks away immediately. “…Perhaps.” he said, taking a peek before withdrawing his eyes from your smile. “…Thank you.” you whispered, taking in its details. His ears turn slightly red.

Magenta Magenta:

Magenta Magenta pretends it’s nothing special “Don’t make a big deal out of it.” he huffed as you handed you a present, decorated with a nice bow. You open the small package excitedly. Inside are candies. Real ones. Not the cheap kind. Your eyes widen.

“…Where did you even get these?” He shrugs nonchalantly, “Connections.” You smile, glancing up to him “…You remembered I liked sweets.” He grumbles, “…Don’t look so happy about it.”

Sandman:

Sandman gives gifts quietly. He approaches you during sunset, hands you a small leather pouch. Inside are smooth stones shaped like hearts “From the desert.” he answered before you could question. You smile softly “…Thank you.”

He nods “Today is a day people give things.” You laugh softly, “I didn’t even know it was Christmas.” Sandman smiles faintly. “…Now you do.”

Mountain Tim:

Mountain Tim is the smoothest about it. He tips his hat and hands you a wrapped parcel. “Merry Christmas, ma’am.” he said just like how he practiced. “…It’s Christmas?” you asked, slowly packing his present as he chuckles.

“Sure is.” Inside is a beautifully braided rope bracelet. You look up, shocked “Did you make this?” you were in completely in disbelief at the present “Figure a cowboy oughta know how to braid rope.” You laugh.
