Testing the bedside cabinet for height placement. Because of the bed drawers, cool retro legs isn’t possible so it’ll be attached to the wall. Right now being propped up by #woodworking magazines. Testing #wood for drawer. Using the same curly maple like the matching side drawer. / Ready for glue up, I’ll remember to remove the blue tape this time. I forgot about it last time and it took a while to completely removed the glued on tape. Unnecessary sanding. / Mitered corners for these are weak and especially because I don’t have a perfect 45 degree corners, this is a bad idea but I like the look so I’ll make notches and glue pieces of wood in it to strengthen the joints using a jig I made last year. It’ll also have a brace at the back of the cabinet to further support it.
