"We *so badly* want to satisfy others, whether it's not hurting someone's feelings, making our parents proud, or impressing a boss at work. A healthy amount of this is okay, but sometimes it can get out of hand, so much so that you NEVER feel fulfilled, proud of yourself, or happy with your accomplishments. This is my #1 downfall and I admit I need to be better about it. There's no way to guarantee that your actions will make someone else happy, and half the time it's going to end up being more trouble than it's worth.
