Celebrating what goes around, comes around. I rarely post personal photos on my business page. But my grown up children have birthdays two days apart this weekend so it's a time to celebrate šš„°š Parental love is unconditional. The love we give our animals is unconditional. The love we give in our relationships should be unconditional too. Love is an intense personal investment that leaves you vulnerable as whatever you invest, you risk losing. But the love you invest can also pay priceless dividends. Love and loss. The ultimate gamble. But "'tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all"- Alfred Lord Tennyson. Invest every possible moment in enjoying the people who are closest to you. And in the event of separation or loss, the memory of love shared will always remain. So today I am celebrating karma - what goes around, comes around. In my professional life as a Celebrant I invest a lot of time, energy and emotion in my couples and clients - a lot! I get enormous personal gratification from helping people, but I also know that someday, somewhere they may post a beautiful review, a personal recommendation, or a magical photo that they allow me to share. Being a Celebrant certainly is a vocation but for me it's also the gift that keeps on giving.
