Hey there! We're super excited to announce the official launch date for NightSpace, a new indie comic written and drawn by @runthelongkon!

NightSpace is a sci-fi/fantasy adventure comic following a group of intrepid friends on their journey through the stars. (See the full summary under the read more)

Stay tuned for some fun promotional materials leading up to the launch, as we get to know some of our main characters!

Just launched my first webcomic “Danger D” on webtoons!

Follow "Danger D", a self proclaimed superhero who's sense of fashion is the only thing worse than his luck, and his new "squaDD...name in progress" (yes that is their whole name) along with all the pickles they seem to get themselves into trying to rid the world of evil!

"The small upstart terrorist group Nightlight has been gaining notoriety throughout the Paelur System. After a surprise attack on the isolated planet of Afybia, an even smaller group of unwarrantedly confident friends decide to put an end to this. ‘NightSpace’ is an epic sci-fi fantasy adventure that follows these underdogs as they gather unlikely allies, refuse to acknowledge how highly the odds are stacked against them, and realize the truth of the situation might not be what they thought."

Regular updates on the home site will begin this Monday (June 3rd) and regular Webtoons updates will begin next Thursday (June 6th)!

Time for our last character introduction (for now?)!

This is Ahnara, the spirited young lady who keeps things lighthearted around the kingdom. She's always happy to use her gift for water magic to help out on the family cabbage farm, but there's few places she would rather be than pestering the castle chef for an early dessert pastry.

While she is not royalty herself, she can often be found at the castle spending time with her childhood best friends, or lovingly bothering the royal advisor (her uncle). Her parents always say that if they can't find her, they start by looking for the prince and the mage apprentice.

Learn more about her story when NightSpace launches on Thursday, May 30th! For now, stay tuned for some fun promotional posts leading up to the launch day!

Let's meet our first character!

This is Aph, the fun-loving and charismatic crown prince of his planet. If he could spend all day holed up in the library reading about heroes on grand adventures, he would (unless he got the opportunity to go on one of those grand adventures himself)!

The people of his kingdom adore him, and who can blame them? As helpful as he is charming, Aph is a down to earth man of the people. When not goofing around with his friends, he can be found dutifully doing his chores and helping out the castle staff when they need a hand.

Let's meet our next character!

This is Xzarkro, the soon-to-be Royal Mage of the kingdom! He loves researching the intricacies of magic and the different ways that it can be used to aid people. (He also loves conjuring flashy illusions to show off his skills.)

Despite his flair for the dramatic, Xzar is fairly shy and is not often seen outside of the castle. That is, of course, unless accompanied by his two childhood best friends on a playful trouble-causing excursion.
