im also pretty sure it only reads as decreasing at the end and not beginning and end? but i could be reading it wrong

'each end of needle' looks like beginning and end to me, but...

err, i think this is an item knit in the round on DPNs and means decrease once at the end of each DPN? thats how it reads to me

anon, if the pattern has you using multiple needles, you're going to do those beginning-and-end decreases on each needle, rather than just the beginning and end of the row.
