And also note that you cannot overload methods or give method variables a strict type, like in Java.

I'm just pissed off by the fact that there aren't any good viable alternatives that just work, almost all other weblanguages have drawbacks somewhere. PHP is not that bad but in my personal opinion the syntax is just complete utter shit sometimes. And unlike when I'm using Java or C#, classes just feel like flat plain grouped functions and variables, It doesn't feel like I'm messing around with actual “objects”

So, in summary. I don't want to spend a lot of time reading boring documentation when I could be experimenting and learning in code. And if I want to switch to JSP I'll have to switch webserver anyway since the only real support comes from Apache Tomcat. So when I try to look for some basic configuration documentation or tutorials all I get is a giant pages of text with no proper examples or any examples at all, and non of it is easy to understand. How hard can it be to just explain the basics without going in too deep.
