I think I’m a daily Veilspuns blog now (Well almost, though I promise I drew the last one yesterday and this one today)

Not super satisfied with this design, but I wanted to make something round and cute

I’ve been sorting through the massive stockpile of dragons I’ve got in my hibden, and I stumbled across this lady that I hatched for last year’s anniversary!  She’s been scattered a few times and her colors right now have a lot of potential, but they’re just not my thing.  I’d love for her to find a nice home though!  First person to comment their username + ID can have her for free :>  

once upon a time, i bought a banescale from the auction house and fell in love with their colors and scry i made for them. i put them in my hibernation den for safekeeping so that i could save up and gene them and during that time, the veilspun dragons were released. excited for the veilspuns, i messed around with auction house babies and some dragons in my den, and i scried that banescale as a veilspun and fell in love AGAIN. but how could i choose between these two??? they have differing vibes and aesthetics to them but i loved them both, so i decided i’d take a chance....

i messaged the owner of the banescale’s parents and told them of my situation, and i politely offered if there was any way we could breed them again to get a similar baby again, i would be so so grateful and pay them for taking the time for me. they were very happy to!! i couldnt believe it oh my gosh. one week later, a new banescale baby was born with the EXACT colors as the first baby!

today, i finished gening the first banescale as their intended scry! their name is Rift, and they are a tear in timespace. their otherworldly smoke swirls from their body at a gradual pace, gently warping the time and space around them. the warping seems to have a strange, odd effect, but no one is able to quite explain how...it is just noticeable, and unsettlingly, different.

I found a mate for my thembo Lorian. Say hi to Tule! Isn’t she gorgeous? I speed gened her overnight and finished her this morning when her capsule gene was finished brewing.
