Scramble was a Skitter variant that could gain the abilities and properties of nearby bugs, however after a run in with Bonesaw she was robbed of her ability to revert any changes made by her power.
She came to this world with a purpose though, one she’d be willing to relinquish her last slivers of humanity for. Just another Taylor burning herself to nothing in service of a single minded goal.
She is joined and antagonised by Scuttle, a far less sensitive variant who has amassed an army of modified giant insects thanks to her world’s Panacea. She fully embraces her role as a parahuman warlord so concept of holding onto humanity so feverishly seems strange and moronic to her.
Several of the Taylor variants in the Weaver War are getting along better than expected. Above is a plan drawn out by Scurry, given to Prisoner-1066 to aid her in taking down The Travellers.
Scurry relates to Prisoner-1066 a lot as they both had to survive in hostile Parahuman environments after being detained by the powers that be.
(Scurry and several other Taylor variant’s extensive knowledge of The Travellers suggest they are relatively unchanged in every universe they appear in)
There’s something in the tunnels, its voice seems familiar.
Tracking Vista into an enclosed space is dangerous, she could warp the walls and trap Scurry with a thought. Though her power is becoming less potent the closer she gets, so who’s to say.
Funnily enough Scurry is probably the variant you’d have the best chance talking down, which isn’t a lot but it’s more than the others. The difficult part is finding a moment to have that initial conversation.
