i’m a terrible scottish person because i don’t like whisky. i’ve tried!! but i just don’t!! i also don’t like tequila thank to various incidents as a teen where i drank wayyyy too much, so it tastes extra revolting to me now. one of my friends actually made tequila jelly shots once when we were in high school, which was like deep-throating a tequila flavoured slug. nightmare. nightmare.
i tend to drink g&ts if i’m in a crappy bar with nothing more trustworthy, but i’m more of a beer or cocktails girl in general. i like cocktails because they're like a cool magic potion. and i lived with a professional brewer for 2 years, so i have more of a taste for beer in general, and would probably prefer to drink A Good Beer over A Good Wine.
Aw man, that sounds pretty cool. In ireland we dont really bbq much (put sauce on meat? cook in oven?? Bbq?) but in town there's The Mongolian Bbq and its amazing. Cook everything right in front of you
