Richard/Piper

Which one sends emojis when texting? Piper at first, simply because when Richard texts, it’s almost always business related and short and to the point, while Piper texts to actually chat, but after a while, he gets into the emoji thing too, but only with her (and maybe occasionally Jill)

Which one cried during a disney movie? Both of them, lbr

Who does the cooking? Richard, almost exclusively. He loves doing it, and Piper is more than willing to admit that he’s way better at it than she is.

Who decorates for the holiday season? Piper gets more enjoyment out of it, so she does more, but I think if Richard is home in London for Christmas, he’ll put a few things up.

Who puts their cold hands/feet on their partner? Piper, and then she giggles madly when Richard yelps.

Which person would stay up all night reading their favorite book, and which one would carry the other to bed? Honestly, I could see both of them staying up reading, but if it’s nighttime, they’re reading in bed, so if they fall asleep, they’re already in bed XD

Who laughs more during sex? Piper, which makes Richard laugh. I don’t think he ever really thought laughing during sex was a thing until he met her, and at first he thought it was a little weird, like she was laughing at him, but it didn’t take him long to realize that she just laughs when she’s happy. (And sometimes he will intentionally make her laugh, and then make her moan, and it’s like his favorite thing to do.)

Who takes longer to shower? I feel like both of them are pretty efficient bathers, but probably Piper by a few minutes, due to having long hair to wash and occasionally legs to shave.

Which one sends emojis when texting? Both of them, probably. I feel like they have entire emoji conversations.

Which one cried during a disney movie? Both of them

Who does the cooking? They both enjoy cooking, so they trade off.

Who decorates for the holiday season? Quinn does the bulk of the little things, but Will helps her with the tree and outside stuff. (Not that he doesn’t enjoy decorating, but Quinn is super particular about where things go and stuff like that.)

Which person would stay up all night reading their favorite book, and which one would carry the other to bed? Quinn would definitely stay up all night reading

Who laughs more during sex? Will, I think. I think Quinn smiles a lot, but doesn’t necessarily laugh.

Not English, but have been over this with English friends and NOPE. Scones are too heavy to compare to what we have. (When E-J came to visit, we gave her a US biscuit for the first time in her life.)

5. How old is your OC? 36. She'll be 37 this year (she's 10 years younger than Richard) but I'm not exactly sure when her birthday is. My mind hasn't revealed that to me yet.

9. What are some of your OCs weaknesses? None, she's perfect. Okay, obviously she has some, but I haven't really thought of any yet. She's basically Richard's rock, so right now, she's just this super strong, superheroine type character. (But as I work on fleshing out the book, I will obviously work on fleshing her out more too.)

12. Is your OC sexually active? Yes, but not as much as she'd like to be at the moment, since she's currently living in New York, and her girlfriend lives in London.

13. What is your OCs earliest memory? Not sure. She's very much a Londoner, and has lived in London her whole life, so I think it's probably something that really speaks to that.

14. Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind? Yes, an iPhone. She just has one phone, since the only work-related person who would call her after working hours is Richard, and she's okay with that.

15. What makes your OC angry? People thinking she got her job with Richard by sleeping with him. People being dismissive of her because she's "just" Richard's assistant. People giving her and Adrienne shit about their relationship. Women who use Richard.

24. What does your OC smell like? I don't imagine she wears any kind of perfume, so she just has a clean, maybe sort of vaguely floral, sort of smell, a combination of her shampoo and body wash and deodorant.

27. What languages does your OC speak? English primarily, but a lot of other ones too. I don't think she's as fluent in some as Richard is, but because she travels with him so much, she's learned enough to get by.

36. What turns your OC on? She lovessssssss listening to Adrienne talk about her work, even if she doesn't understand half of it; basically her girlfriend being super smart is super sexy. Also she and Adrienne are totally not afraid to play with the professor/student thing (they tried boss/assistant once, but it made Jill think of Richard and sort of killed the mood, so they don't do that anymore). She likes cuddles that turn sexy.

38. Does your OC have any pets? You know, I started to say no, but then remembered that she doesn't always travel with Richard, and that she doesn't live alone, so I can see her and Adrienne having a cat or two.

40. What is the craziest thing your OC has done? Oh, gosh, IDK. Maybe, in her mind, marrying her high school sweetheart.

48. What social class is your OC from? She was probably solid middle class for most of her life, but since she's been working for Richard, she's probably pretty upper middle class now.

50. Does your OC cry easily? I don't think so. I think it takes a lot to make her cry, but I think the one thing that can make her cry is seeing people she loves upset/hurting/in pain.

51. What is your OCs favorite genre of music? Something I haven't thought much about (though I don't usually for any of my characters), but I could see her liking female vocalists, and has probably picked up some of Richard's classical leanings as well.

She dresses similarly to Piper when it comes to work, but I think she favors brighter colors and prints, and more whimsical touches (like bows on her shoes, or ribbons on her sleeves, or some kind of like... raised flower detail on her blouses, I can't think of what I'm trying to say, like a fabric flower where a pocket might be). When it comes to casual, she's very much about jeans and t-shirts, or pajamas if she's just having a lazy day at home.

57. Would you call your OC adventurous? Not really, or at least not in her downtime. I feel like she does a lot of things with Richard that she wouldn't normally do, like all of her traveling, the occasional stressful crazy days where she's running around like crazy, stuff like that, so when she's not working, she just really wants to chill and be relaxed.

59. What is the first thing that someone would notice about your OC? Her smile, if you're lucky enough to get to see it on your first meeting. God help you if you've pissed her off on your first time meeting her, because then the first thing you'll notice is her glare.

2. Where does your OC work? He works for a technology firm that specializes in large computer networks for businesses, including security. The firm is based in London, which is where Richard lives, but has satellite offices around the world, including New York, which is where he currently lives because he's installing a large system for a client.

23. Whats your OCs biggest secret? I feel like Richard has a lot of secrets, because he doesn't have that many friends, and he doesn't reveal a lot to anybody until he knows he can trust them.

24. What does your OC smell like? I'm terrible at thinking of specific scents, but I imagine really warm, maybe a little bit of a spicy undertone. There's a small independent shop near his home in London that sells really nice soaps and lotions and such, and that's where he buys all of his shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc., and before he comes to New York, he sets up a delivery schedule with them, so that he can keep using their stuff while he's out of town.

27. What languages does your OC speak? English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc. He travels all over the world for work, so he needs to be able to converse with his clients, and he knows it's rude and presumptuous to expect them to speak English for him.

30. What does your OC choose to do about the, er, hair down there? He keeps it trimmed, but at his age, he feels like it's a little silly to go completely bare. Not to mention that before Piper, he hadn't had a girlfriend in 3 years, so it wasn't something he really concerned himself with, but once they're together, he starts grooming it again.

34. Is your OC religious? You know, I think he was brought up going to church, but probably a few years after his dad left, he and his mom quit going.

Piper XD No matter what she looks like, if she's just woken up and is all messy hair and bleary eyes, or if they're going out on a date and she's all done up, he always wants her. Specifically, though, he LOVES it when she teases him in public. He also loves seeing other people check her out, because he knows that she only wants him, and he can't help being a little smug about it.

39. Who is your OCs biggest enemy? I don't think he really has any, at least none serious. There are people he doesn't like, and competing businesses and whatnot, but nothing really serious.

40. What is the craziest thing your OC has done? Getting engaged to a woman who, at that point, he'd only been dating long distance.

41. What is your OCs motto about life? I think just the idea that working hard will always pay off, in some way (even if it's not necessarily the way you want it to)
