How has the pandemic affected our workplace,
Ever since the pandemic started spreading quickly, people have not been going outside a lot and this is a good way to prevent the spread of the virus but it has greatly affected our workplace. Since not a lot of people are coming in daily, that means that the company does not need a lot of people working, and this means that we do not get a lot of work hours anymore.
Before the pandemic during lunch hours, our store would be packed with customers since there are offices nearby and they would get their lunch in our store. We would be very busy during these times but now we do not get a lot of customers anymore and our store is empty most of the time.
Most of the time we are just standing inside the store waiting for customers, which can get boring sometimes, but we always try to make it enjoyable for us so we do not get bored easily, and I am really grateful that I have nice and fun co-workers, and this is why I still choose to work even though we do not get a lot of hours anymore. We may not get a lot of customers anymore but we still try to serve our customers that wants to buy from our store.
