An annual robotics convention was being held this year in Tokyo, Japan, as it was the mecca of anything robotic or technological in general. Robotic scientists and inventors, not just from Japan itself, but from all over the world were present for the events that were to unfold, and to display their newest creations. But this year was a bit different, for the presence of one certain individual had caught the attention of some very powerful, and dangerous people...

One such man was currently wandering down the hallways, looking like an elder, well-dressed man, who was accompanied by a larger, samurai-themed robot master; none other than the Japanese X Tournament champion, Yamato Man. The man would skim over the convention with his eyes, seemingly scanning the great halls for someone... until he’d stop, and turn to approach one of the rented-out spots.

Manipulator? Backstabber? No no no. He would never do that.

He wouldn’t.

Oh but. .

He would.

Metal had the thought in his head for a while now, unsure of what to think about it. Wily wasn’t just using him, he loves him as his son, right? Metal Man’s sharp antennae wiggle back and forth on his head anxiously while he contemplated. There has to be a logical and good reason for his behavior with him and his brothers. Though, he’s seen differently, being the weaker one, especially against his own weapon.

There’s always a reason for something like this, he just hopes what he’s heard isn’t true. He can’t talk to his brothers about this, not even Wood Man or Bubble Man, they’ll think he’s lost his bolts! The metallic bladed robot ran away from the lab to the outside world, just to think for a bit.

This wasn’t helping that it was down pouring robot cats and dogs outside. This doesn’t normally stop him, though the thought of water getting through his suit into sensitive wiring couldn’t be good news. If he’s a weakly made bot, then he must have been rushed.

The idea of asking Dr Light was out of the question. He still hated Light’s guts for his goody-two-shoes ways. Plus, he didn’t want the risk of being reprogrammed. His loyalty remained strong.

An idea came to mind. 

Mikhail.

Perhaps Dr Cossack could help him. It was worth a shot, though he was a bit unsure if he’d let him inside his home after what the basically did to him and his family.

Too late, Metal already found himself outside the laboratory door. Looks like he wasn’t left much of a choice. His mind already let him wander this far out, no use of going back empty handed or empty minded.

"Who are you and how do you know me?," he said as he raised his buster. However, under the mask he was blushing. He was flattered.

Jester lets out a startled yelp, but when he was caught, he almost panicked a bit before realising that someone saved him. If he were Screamer, he would have certainly died from a panic attack.

“Konnichiwa, namae wa nan desu ka?” Yamato asked shyly.

Yamato didn’t notice that he was rocking slightly on his feet. He did it so often, especially in situations where he was uncomfortable, that he stopped noticing it happened.

“Atta bakarina no wa shitte imasuga, nanika hanashitaidesu,” Yamato confessed after a while.

 ‘They’ll probably be here any moment now... it’s now or never, Albert... time to come clean, once and for all.’

Albert Wily thought to himself as he stood in his old hideout’s teleporter room, now fully dressed up in his doctor’s outfit, which he admitted felt a bit... wrong to put on, but he hadn’t had time to buy some other outfit. The least he had done, at least, was to tuck that otherwise tall and menacing collar of his downward, to look a bit more civil.

As Galaxy heard the door handle turning and the door opening, he’d just shift a bit unpleasantly under his little hidey-hole under his covers, still making it blatantly obvious he was hiding underneath them, as his sobs had reduced to mere whimpers for now, knowing that his father was close to listen to him. “I-It’s just...” he starts, his voice choked up.
