This may sound selfish of us but, sometimes we wish we wouldn't have to like, prompt "ily" from ppl. Its never "ily." Its always "ily2" in response to us saying it first. And amth abt that. Sounds inauthentic to us, bc rlly, ppl say that bc we said it. We always have to be the first. Maybe ppl aren't comfortable with saying ily to frens idk but even frens who r, never say it to us first, we're always "ily" and everyone's always "ily2" and. We dont like inauthentic stuff. We can't convince ourselves its real, our brain won't let us pretend 4 a second

We're prolly going to get smth asks like "ily" but again with prompting shit ppl only rlly do stuff out of pity and bc they personally feel bad so they feel the need to only say smth AFTER we have discussed it so that too feels very inauthentic
