Yes, I heard the bs he's a good dad, but in reality he's not even doing the bare minimum for her. They say he sacrificed his happiness to give the girl a normal life despite her mother's abuse, but it just looks like him having a martyr complex rather than a real sacrifice. Also he's not actually doing good by letting her live with a hostile mother. And if she really was abusive as the narrative says she is then she would have picked up on it. Let's be honest the abuse angle was just meant to cover Stolas' cheating so we can feel for him.
When they try to point he's a good dad by showing her childhood it just shows he got lazier being a good dad over the years. He's not even trying anymore because he now wants to focus on his own selfish desires instead of truly raising her. People say she's a teenager so she doesn't need him as much. But no you will always need your parents regardless if you are grown or not. The minute they feel you are drifting away from them it will affect them. And so far he's slowly drifted himself from his daughter to focus on Blitzo. The narrative will say it's the fault of his ex and brother in law, but in reality he did to himself and I am going to be happy at least when the season finale calls him harshly on this fact and that he doesn't deserve a daughter like Via who was too patient tolerating his bs.
