Kagome definitely got her black hair and blue-gray eyes from her dad. Mama Higurashi gave her the curls/waves and delicate features, but her mom's hair color is a chestnut-dark auburn color like Souta's and she also has warm brown eyes like him. Basically, the Higurashi siblings are combinations of their parents' best features. I am surprised we never learned more about Papa Higurashi because dead parents usually get at least one episode devoted to them in most anime/manga.
Right bc even mama mentioning him in ep 48 is filler!! Inu logic is if the parents are not seen even for a second they don’t exist lol. But yeah i would killed for an ep just dedicated to Higurashi family shenanigans before Kagome was dragged to the feudal era🤧
