your kankid AU, does Tails have the long lifespan of a kitsune and acts like the grumpy old man all the kids and grandkids visit and mess with?
He does have longer lifespan as a kitsune after all they get to live for hundreds of years. Unlucky in this AU future going in yet unfixed fire apocalypse. Even before it long live messed up with him badly, but don't worry it will get better. And yes he like to spend time with his kids who also have longer lifespan, because he's allowed to have at least something good in his life.
